Councilwoman Frazier's Priorities

Councilwoman Frazier recognizes that Delaware's diverse community will have many ideas, goals and priorities that each of us find important for every resident to be able to live, work and thrive in our city. Councilwoman Frazier places strong emphasis on the work our community members put into providing guidance for the Delaware Together plan. Delaware Together is the City of Delaware's comprehensive plan that outlines goals, objectives and actions for the future success of our city across many areas. Below are Councilwoman Frazier's individual community proirities as a member of City Council. 

Southwest Focus Area Sawmill Parkway Industrial Corridor

  • Prioritizing commerical sites ready for industrial development to promote job growth with new and existing businesses.

  • Integrate workforce housing initiatives in the central portion of the Southwest Focus Area.

  • Establish regional airport authority with Delaware County. Collaboration with Delaware County on much needed improvements and upgrades at DLZ.

Riverfront Focus Area Near East Side Gateway

  • Prepare a riverfront access strategy, set aside land for bridge and walk paths.

  • Work with the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) to incorporate riverfront planning to the future Rapid 5 project planning. Learn more about Rapid 5: https://www.rapid5.org/​​

Fiscal Sustainability 

Infrastructure Capacity

  • Identify residential infill development opportunities to redevelop areas of the community with existing infrastructure for residential development.​

  • Review of the city's expenditures by department to target future workforce areas where the integration of technology and automation can offer city departments a decrease in expenses.​​
